Oracle SOA Consultant

Location: Columbus, OH

Minimum years of experience: 10+ Years

Must Have Skills:• Oracle SOA Suite• Oracle APICs Gateway• Oracle Integration Cloud• 10 or more years of expertise in designing and delivering SOA based application integration solutions.• 8 or more years of experience architecting and delivering integration solutions using Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Integration Cloud.• Experience developing solutions using Oracle Service Bus and Coherence Cache.• Experience designing technical solutions using Oracle SOA Suite 12c.• Good understanding of applying design patterns and avoid anti-patterns• Experience working in complex integration projects• Experience providing technical help and mentor team members• Good communication skills and experience working in Agile Team environments

Nice to Have Skills:Oracle Service Bus and Coherence CacheOracle Middleware productsSwagger 2.0 and Open API 3.0 Design Specifications

Detailed Job Description:o Design and deliver solutions to meet complex business needs.o Investigate and clarify business unit pain-points, address needs, develop and communicate solution optionso Leverage standard reference architectures, design patterns, technology guidelines and standards.o Produce all architectural solution and project deliverables without assistance;o Act a key Subject Matter Expert and for technology leadership on specific technical and business topics.o Mentor, guide and oversee one or more junior solution architects.o Work with the project team and leadership to ensure success of the projects in their portfolio. o Participate in project decision-making to ensure trade-offs between project delivery and architectural goals are well-reasoned.o Active contributor in the assessment of supported business unit solution portfolio, including the development of current and future state views of a given solution portfolio efforts. o Ability to develop solution architecture and design for critical services using Oracle Middleware productso Ability to translate functional to system requirements keeping industry best-practiceso Ability to design APIs based on business functionso Adapt integration patterns to build on premise and cloud-based solutionso Support of current Integrations for enhancementso Document future state design and develop and deliver proof-of-concept solutions using Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)o Demonstrate, advocate and design integrations using best practices in Oracle SOA Domain.
