Job Title: Product Launch ManagerReports to: VP of Innovation, FranklinCovey InnovationLocation: Remote - Anywhere in the USStatus: Part Time - 20 hours per weekJob SummaryAs a Product Launch Manager in the Education Division, you will help successfully coordinate the launch of new products to an internal and external audience. You will be part of the product development team and will work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, operations, international, coaching, consulting, finance and other functions to ensure products go to market in an effective, collaborative, and fun way.Role ContextFranklinCovey’s Education Division has grown significantly and now includes more than 200 associates working across a range of functions. We continue to produce many innovative new products each year designed to produce impact at scale for schools, districts, international partners, students, educators, families, and communities The success of those products depends heavily on cross-functional collaboration in equipping, educating and supporting each internal function. We have recently invested in refining and scaling up our product launch process and are now seeking a part time Launch Manager to coordinate launch activities.Essential Job Functions

Lead a weekly cross-functional launch meeting

Maintain a calendar of product launches and key dates; update as development schedule evolves

Use project management software to track launch tasks, dates, and dependencies

Work with stakeholders to ensure completion of key tasks and meet milestones

Collaborate with a team to create launch communications

Serve as a point person for general product questions

Maintain high trust relationships with product architects, managers and developers; work with them to anticipate launch needs and answer more detailed questions post-launch

Facilitate collaborative conversations and problem solving

Provide status reports that make progress and next steps clear

Identify risks and clearly communicate those risks to appropriate stakeholders, then work collaboratively to mitigate or resolve them

Requirements

3-5 years of project management experience. Formal training or certification preferred.

Marketing or product background with experience communicating details about new products preferred.

Strong track record of using effective processes to meet timelines

Excellent skills in empathic listening

Ability to communicate clearly with both courage and consideration

Passion for creating great experiences for clients

Ability to see the big picture and define tradeoffs in time, cost, and quality

Understanding of successful launch processes for technical software features, training content, or similar products strongly preferred

Experience in one or more FranklinCovey Education teams preferred, but not required
