Our DevOps team is responsible for supporting our applications hosted in AWS and On-prem infrastructure, our CI/CD pipelines, observability, and building tools for all aspects of developer productivity. This team is at the heart of our Engineering operations and has a huge impact on our ability to scale and offer highly reliable services in a secure and cost-effective manner.Our Ideal fit will be a strong communicator who can speak for and motivate their team, bring real world DevOps, infrastructure, operations, and scaling experience, and help drive significant changes to how we perform software developmentHow you will make an impact:As a leader of one of our key enablement functions in the Engineering org, you will: Incorporate Continuous Integration & Delivery of software products across the full suite of Product and Capability offerings. Work with your product development and platform engineering to build a DevOps. maturity roadmap based upon key business metrics. Own department manager responsibilities for all DevOps software personnel. Deliver tools and frameworks to improve developer productivity, including CI/CD pipelines, internal developer setup and sandboxes etc. Establish and promote best practices for SLIs, SLOs, Error Budgets, Monitoring/Alerting and other best in class SRE practices. Hire and train a team of SRE and DevOps engineers. Mentor and guide professional and technical development of your team members. Build plans for prioritizing technical and resourcing challenges in your organization. As an enthusiastic and confident leader, you foster a culture of accountability and take pride and ownership in the work you and your team do. Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS in Computer Science, Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience leading project teams, application software development, maintenance or implementation and support, including a minimum of 3 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. Preferred Qualifications: 4+ years of Professional DevOps engineering experience. 3+ years of management experience. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Experience managing a high-performance DevOps team. Hands-on AWS and/or GCP experience.
