Job Description

As a Survey Crew Chief you will work out in the field on survey projects including site control, construction staking, boundary surveys, topography surveys, ALTA surveys, aerial surveys, and bathymetric surveys. You will serve as the survey party chief working out of Columbus, Ohio. Familiarity with Trimble GPS and Total Stations equipment is a bonus. You willtravel to job sites at different stages of completion and work in all types of terrain and weather conditions. Most work will be within Columbus area with an occasional opportunity to travel.

You bring to the team:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team
  • Registered as a Surveyor-in-Training (SIT) or 4 years of experience working with a licensed surveyor
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD or Microstation preferred
  • Some construction staking experience is helpful
