- The Telephony hands and feet support engineer has to work from the client site providing operational support for installation, maintenance, and management of VOIP phone.
- He is responsible to support and troubleshoot the cisco desk phones and jabber phones
- Fair understanding of Cisco Call manager server, Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection is preferred
- Accountable for testing cable, troubleshooting telephony, and associated network systems issues, which may include; repair, replacement, or adjustment of end unit components.
- Assist with the planning and implementation of IP telephony connected systems (telecom, network).
- Working knowledge on Cisco Unified Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco IM&P, Cisco 4431 and equivalent ISRs, Cisco VG310, Cisco IOS, internal analog installation and troubleshooting, working with faxing, basic TCP/IP networking understanding, working with telecom carriers.
- Experience: Experience with Cisco Communications Manager, Cisco Unity Connection, Cisco IM&PCisco MRA/Jabber Experience including but not limited to VoIP, SIP, e911, IP, QoS, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, MGoogle Cloud Platform, Network Analyzer, PBX Management, Unified Messaging Experience in Cisco Network datacenter router, switch installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Practical knowledge of protocols Multihomed BGP, VRF, VDC, HSRP
