US Tech Solutions is seeking a “Unified Communication Engineer” for a 6 month contract position with a client in Columbus, OH Job Poster: Deekonda Sai Teja Job Responsibilities: The Unified Communications Product/Service Owner is an IT/IS management role with decision making authority for Unified Communications (UC) capabilities, use, and support. The Product/Service Owner serves as a trusted advisor with extensive knowledge of UC functionality and best practices who provides expert guidance on implementations, solutions and features. The ideal candidate for this role has an extensive working knowledge of UC’s capabilities, its deployments within the organization, and the organization’s business needs, standards, policies, and tools. The Unified Communications Product/Service Owner provides guidance on the architecture, configuration, integration, and support of the UC environment. Key Job Responsibilities: · Maintains a deep technical understanding of all aspects of the organization’s UC implementationo Includes 3rd party relationships and their offeringso Includes Cisco Call Manager version 10 and greatero Includes Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE)o Includes Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)· Leads the ongoing development and implementation of the organization’s UC strategy· Ensures the ongoing deployment and use of UC aligns with the organization’s standards, policies, and compliance requirements· Evaluates UC changes & updates and reports on impact to the organization· Leads technical projects related to UC· Collaborates with and provides direction to UC technical leads and support resources· Participates in troubleshooting and problem resolution· Identifies and documents UC standards and tools and support processes· Identifies, monitors, and reports on key performance metrics· Leads the organization’s UC governance· Champions the UC roadmap and release schedules· Maintains an awareness of UC third-party solutions· Serves as the organization’s expert in UC functionality and features· Supports user adoption strategy development, which may include training development and delivery Job Qualifications:Education· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent field of study· 7+ years of IT or consulting work experience is preferred· 5+ years of hands-on experience with one or more of the following:· Cisco Call Manager/IM Presence· Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise (UCCE)· Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)· Certification in one or more of these areas of expertise is preferred but not required.· CCNA certification is a plus but not required Work experience· 5 years Education· Bachelors About US Tech Solutions: Your talent, our opportunities - This is the premise behind US Tech Solutions.You have the skill we have the opportunity.
