Director of Home Health
Location: Westerville, Ohio
Salary: $109,000 - $110,000
The Director of Home Health oversees clinical operations, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, quality improvement, and financial performance for a Medicare-certified home health agency. This role ensures exceptional patient care, strong clinical outcomes, and efficient, compliant operations.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain survey readiness and ensure compliance with Medicare, state, and accrediting body regulations.
Oversee clinical operations, care plans, diagnosis coding review, and EMR accuracy.
Lead, mentor, and evaluate Home Health staff; ensure adequate staffing and training.
Drive Quality Assurance & Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives and analyze clinical data.
Manage budgets, revenue cycle processes, documentation accuracy, and billing compliance.
Build strong relationships with patients, families, physicians, hospitals, and community partners.
Support marketing and referral development efforts.
Qualifications
BSN and active, unencumbered Ohio RN license required.
5+ years healthcare experience, including 2+ years in clinical administration or operations.
Knowledge of Medicare and payer requirements; strong EMR and Microsoft Office skills.
Experience in home health, clinical management, compliance, and quality improvement preferred.
Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
