EXPERIENCED LICENSED DRIVERS MOVE TO THE HEAD OF THE LINE
Moving company in Columbus is looking for friendly, courteous, and professional DRIVERS and MOVERS to join our team. You must be at least 18-years-old to apply, live within 20 minutes of West Columbus and have a good driving record (absolutely no alcohol or reckless driving offenses). Applicants should be in EXCELLENT physical condition as this is a very physically demanding job. In addition, experienced applicants must be able to pass a pre-employment screen, and criminal background screen, (absolutely no felony convictions, theft convictions or sexual crime convictions). Drivers make between $14-15/hr depending on experience level and time driving. Our moves are local to friendly homes. Movers make between $12-$14 depending on experience.
MUST HAVE:
Current Driver License and at least 1-2 years consecutive years experience to be a DRIVER.
Reliable OWN transportation.
Smartphone for GPS.
Great Attendance record.
Ability to effectively communicate with customers.
Sense of urgency to arrive to the customer on time, AND effectively communicate your status to Dispatch (what stage of the move you are oni.e "arrived at customer" - "loaded" - "on way to offload" - "ready to bill out").
Social, and interpersonal skills.
Flexible schedule.
EXCELLENT physical condition.
Can do attitude.
Work well with others.
Honest!
Uniform:
Jeans or Dickie's work pants, dark blue (NO sag).
Plain dark blue t-shirt (company t-shirts after 30 days).
Comfortable closed toe shoes.
Clean cut appearance.
