We are a multi-service wedding company located here in Columbus. (We are NOT an out of state company hiring for Columbus!) We've been in business for 15 years and are looking for experienced Wedding Photographers. We are in need of 1 possibly 2 individuals that are looking to shoot about 5 to 10 times a year in the wedding season. Usually March through Oct.
The position will be for a photographer that is ready to hit the ground running in shooting a wedding, therefore you MUST have experience in the wedding photography field. In addition we might use you for a 2nd camera photographer if needed. Weddings are booked for 7 hours, if more you will be compensated. Wedding photographers usually book 9 to 12 months in advance. Dedication and commitment is highly required and expected Once you've accepted a date you're booked for that date.
You must have professional equipment. Not starter cameras. You must have backup equipment in the area of camera bodies, lenses, flash units and batteries and cards.
Compensation is given depending on what package the client purchases. Usually payment is from $250 to $450. That averages out to $36 to $64 hr.
