Title: IAM Security Specialist Location: Columbus, OH (open to 100% remote) Duration: Long-term, open-ended contract with potential to convert into permanent placement Client Industry: Electrical energy utility Seeking career-minded candidates that would be involved in Identity and Access Management (IAM) efforts focusing specifically on Service Accounts (non-human IDs). Their primary responsibilities would include working with internal business unit customers to ensure data quality, ensuring all technical aspects are accurate and complete, assistance/development of helpful documentation, researching and building knowledge about products/processes.
We are seeking 3 candidates, each with a slightly different focus: Functional, Technical, and a Hybrid of both. Essential Job Functions & Tasks:- Analyzes processes, problems, trends and strategies to assist in the development and implementation of functional and/or technical solutions that achieve business goals
- Learns complex concepts, and communicates the functional and technical information in a way that is engaging and understood by users
- Researches and builds functional and technical knowledge about products, services, technology or concepts to be documented
- Contributes to the execution of Service Account projects from project idea through the project implementation with a focus on requirement elicitation, business process optimization/improvement, customer usability, architecture, end to end data/process mapping, integrations, reporting and application development
- Manages customer/IT relationships advocating toward functional and technical solutions which return high value to the organization
- Creates and/or maintains functional and technical documentation about project/product/processes/technology/concepts
- Creates reports in Excel and ServiceNow
- Works with agile teams who are completing the application development (wont necessarily have to do any development themselves)
- Identifies access requirements and assesses the access of accounts and known IT dependencies
- Investigates accounts in an attempt to determine what applications/tools use these accounts, who should own them and their relationships
- Identifies and remediates data quality issues and communicates accordingly
- Assists with user acceptance testing
- Creates Reports in Excel and ServiceNow
- Writes database scripts/queries to analyze data
- Assists with system and integration testing
- May include a mix of functional/technical duties listed above.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field such as computer science, information systems, or business; OR Associate's degree with two years of related experience; OR high school diploma/GED with four years of related experience.
- Minimum of three years of related experience in addition to any years of experience as noted above.
- Experience with compliance/regulatory (SOX, NERC CIP and critical applications) and these systems is desired but not required: Excel, ServiceNow, RPA/BOT (specifically UI Path) and Applications/Infrastructure platforms (ie: Oracle, UNIX, SQL, Active Directory, OpenLDAP, RACF, Windows)
