Quality Control Inspector (Home Improvement) needed to join our professional team; full-time position; experience in service sales or gutter/roofing sales desired.
Job Summary:
The Quality Control Inspector position is responsible for inspecting our products on customers homes and making recommendations to ensure product performance.
Visit customers homes to examine products and materials for defects or deviations from product specs/standards (Inspector training provided) and sell product upgrades
Recommend adjustments to product to ensure standard performance
Work closely with Production department to schedule service
Proactively engage with our customers to deliver a great customer service experience
Some mentoring and training of new hires

Who You Are:
Minimum one (1) year prior home improvement service sales experience required; previous gutter/roofing sales a plus but not required
Minimum one (1) year basic remodeling/construction experience required; previous gutter installation experience a plus but not required
Basic to intermediate computer skills required; knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and CRM a plus
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
Must possess valid OH drivers license
Must pass a background screening and drug test
Must be able to travel 100% of time.
Ability to climb ladders with heights up to 3rd story
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to inspect outdoor job sites year-round
Motivated and reliable individual who takes pride in their work
Creates customer-focused environment, providing excellent customer service and sees business through the eyes of the customer
Ability to identify root causes and solve issues with a high sense of urgency and detail
Strong organizational skills, strong time, workload and project management skills
Responsible for keeping a clean truck
Professional demeanor and good, clear speaking voice
Excellent communication skills. Able to communicate at all levels (written and verbal) -proven customer interaction
Proven ability to negotiate and manage issues/conflicts
Ensure that notes in customers records are up to date and precise
