Position Title: Senior Data AnalystRequired Skills:4+ years of experience in a Data Analyst role3+ years of experience performing SQL queries, triggers and functionsExtensive experience working with Excel (vlookups, pivot tables, etc.)Experience with data virtualization tools (Tableau preferred)Experience with R or PythonExperience working directly with the business daily to determine their data needsExperience translating technical data into functional, usable information for the businessMust be polished and comfortable presenting data to ExecutivesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelors Degree in Computer Science, Business, or similar field of studyDesired Skills: Experience working with a Business Intelligence tool (Microstrategy preferred)Experience examining retail dataDescription of Role/Responsibilities:We are looking for a Data Analyst who is highly technical but also enjoys working with several different business units to provide insights around data. Ideal candidates will be SQL experts and want to know about the analytics behind the required reports and data. This group is extremely business facing and priorities of the business can change quickly so candidates so candidates must be okay with a fast-paced environment. The selected individual will be translating technical data into functional, usable information to help drive more revenue into this retail organization.
