Job Description

The HII team is responsible for managing enterprise architecture, engineering technical solutions to address capability gaps, and the development, sustainment, and modernization of enterprise networks across the Globe.

Essential Job Responsibilities

The Principal Network Engineer on the HII team leads all aspects of the design, engineering, implementation, and troubleshooting of switch and routed network infrastructure with a focus on stability, automation, and innovation. This role will help design and implement advanced network architecture for emerging systems.

Minimum Qualifications

• 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in a related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience. • 10+ years of related experience • Cisco CCNA/CCNP/CCIE or other network engineer certifications preferred • Network security and automation experience preferred. • Experienced with SD-WAN solutions for tactical and non-tactical network environments • Experience engineering and supporting large scale enterprise wired and wireless infrastructure. • Experience with presenting to senior leadership. • Ability to work in a virtual team environment. • Able to conduct research into networking issues as required with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Experience with supporting collocated networks, Cloud Service Providers, AWS, Azure Google Cloud Platform, etc. is a plus • Active DoD TS/SCI Clearance is required.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree highly preferred in Computer Science or Network Engineering fields
  • Knowledge configuring and supporting HPE/Aruba, Cisco routers, and switches.
  • Experience with TCP/IP, including knowledge of common-service applications
  • Demonstrated ability in managing internal junior staff, vendors and service providers
  • Ability to work in a virtual team environment.
  • Able to conduct research into networking issues as required with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with supporting collocated networks, Cloud Service Providers, AWS, Azure Google Cloud Platform, etc. is a plus
