Crown currently has an opening for a Machine Repair Technician at our Dayton, OH facility. Here is your opportunity to help on the Dayton team that manufactures millions of beverage can ends per day.
Starting pay for Machine Repair position is $22.67 per hour and will receive contractual increases as scheduled. After 18 months of employment the rate increases to 95% $23.93 per hour and at 36 month of employment the rate increases to 100% $25.19
Job Accountabilities
The Machine Repair duties include, but not limited to:
Must have significant experience in operating production machines
Diagnoses or troubleshoots machines or equipment to determine malfunction and the need for adjustment or repair
Performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on various types of equipment
Lubricates and cleans parts, installs, moves, sets-up and operates all types of equipment and machine tools
Job Requirements
Minimum requirements include, but not limited to:
Safety orientated
Currently holds a journeyman machinists card OR the equivalent of 6 years direct machinist experience
Good mathematical skills
Possess a team orientated attitude
A good mechanical aptitude and background is a must
