A 45-year old Dayton, Ohio distributor is seeking proven Inside Sales Representatives with 5+ years experience to grow established corporate accounts and hunt for new customers across the United States and Canada.

Ideal candidates will have prior success selling industrial materials and equipment to highly technical mid-level engineers and shop managers within manufacturing, auto racing, aerospace and similar industries. Order sizes are $2,000 to $20,000 on average and can grow as high as $130,000.

You must excel at finding and closing new business, and cultivating relationships with technical buyers who will continue to buy as new projects develop. You must have the ability to proactively sell against incumbent vendors and lower-priced alternatives, as well as the discipline to manage your time and pipeline to meet committed monthly targets .

You must be highly motivated, disciplined and committed to your own professional growth. We are looking for team members who enjoy using the phone and other means of engaging buyers as you fill your pipeline and build successful buying relationships. While you will have all the management, training, mentorship and coaching you require, we will also expect you to work without constant supervision.

Job Duties of an Inside Sales Representative include:

Prospect, qualify and close new sales opportunities using phone, email and other means.

Leverage our training to effectively take control of and win new customer buying cycles.

Consistently track, report and analyze your performance to deliver forecast accuracy.

Maintain your working knowledge of direct and indirect competitors in key industries/accounts.
