Web Developer (AFRL-21-1334-W): Bowhead seeks a Web Developer to support the Public Affairs Support Services contract in Dayton, OH. The Web Developer builds, deploys and maintains Web Site pages. Develops and improves site navigation. Coordinates with web content developers and graphics designers to ensure that needs are technically feasible. Provides technical site maintenance, consultation on issues related to animation, search engine techniques, link integrity, navigation, browsers, graphics, and other technical web developments. Develops code using HTML, Visual Basic or other web-based programming languages. Prepares technical documentation. Provides technical consultation, planning, and administration of the software infrastructure and technical support for the implementation and maintenance of companys web sites. Requires advanced knowledge of web activities, techniques, tools, HTML code, JAVA, GIF, animation, browser and GUI design related applications. May require graphics design skills. Provides technical support, and administration of the software infrastructure for the implementation and maintenance of company/customers web sites. Requires knowledge of web activities, internet techniques, tools, HTML code, JAVA, GIF, animation, browsers and basic GUI design related applications. Essential functions will include: • Execute and manage the design, development, and maintenance of AFResearchLab.com in support of overarching communication and information dissemination strategy. • Design and implement new features and functionality. • Establish and guide website's architecture. • Ensure high-performance and availability and manage all technical aspects of the content management system. • Analyze website strategies and translate qualitative or anecdotal data into recommendations and tactics Bowhead seeks to network with qualified individuals relative to a potential opportunity, which is contingent upon award and not currently funded. Requirements • Bachelor's Degree with 6 years' experience • Exhibit experience in WordPress and be proficient in HTML5, PHP CSS3, JavaScript, and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, to include color and font). • Strong understanding for industry trends and content management systems. • Experience with responsive and adaptive design and an understanding of the entire web development process including design, development and deployment. SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to obtain a security clearance at the Secret level. Possessing an active Secret Clearance is preferred. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Secret clearance at this location.
