- Break/Fix server support experience
- Strong troubleshooting experience
- Fundamental understanding of computer hardware architecture
- Fundamental understanding of computer troubleshooting
- Data Center Technician or equivalent experience
- Understanding of storage devices
- Understanding of network cabling
- Understanding of basic network architecture
- Strong communication and grammatical skills - collaborative, effective communicator
- Must be capable of lifting 50lbs
- Must have valid driver's license and their own vehicle
- Must be able to pass background check and drug test
- Must be able to function well under pressure with multiple priorities
- Must be able to work effectively with minimum supervision and handle multiple priorities.
- The ability to manage work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with Data Center Manager
- 3-5 years IT support experience
- Experience with Linux or similar OS
- Good knowledge of network design and protocols
- Understanding of scripting languages
- Familiarity with incident ticket tracking systems (Remedy, Jira, SIM, etc.)
- Completion of IT Industry Certifications (CompTIA, CISCO, LPI, etc.)
