Summary:Serves as the liaison between Information Technology (IT) and assigned business units working directly with middle and Senior Management; works with business units to identify IT Integration needs and document technical requirements; collaborates with IT teams to execute requirements and ensure technical needs of the business unit are met; builds and maintains relationships with all levels of managementResponsibilities:- Liaises between IT and business units to gather IT Integration business requirements; provides support and transparency;
- Facilitates sessions with stakeholders to determine and document technical requirements
- Collaborates with internal and external partners to ensure customer needs are met by reviewing requirements, status updates, and associated issues
- Identifies system requirements and evaluates new applications
- Documents interfaces between new and legacy systems
- Collaborates closely with IT Architects to design optimal technical solutions to meet business needs while aligning with IT strategies
- Develops and presents concepts and business cases. Makes recommendations to Management accordingly
- Works with Management of assigned business unit to ensure the Company is leveraging technology to maximize efficiencies as a Company
- Advises and guides business units in the process of developing system enhancements, ideas, and work requests
- Captures potential benefits to assist with prioritization
- Performs risk and business impact analysis for proposed enhancements and changes to business systems
- Reviews and documents business processes; recommends and implements changes to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Develops test plans and coordinates software testing with internal partners. Completes testing when appropriate
- Completes other duties, including special projects, as assigned by Management
- Bachelor's Degree preferred in MIS, Computer Science, Business or related field
- Experience with MS Word, Excel, and other MS Office suite application desired
- 3-10 years of business-related experience preferred
- Carries out responsibilities of significance and complexity
- Provides advice and guidance to less experienced professionals or other personnel as situations require
- Researches issues and makes recommendations for technology modifications
- Assists other personnel in development of reports to monitor Corporate/Department goals and objectives
- Requires good communication skills and the ability to work with middle and Senior Management
- Demonstrated expertise with Word, Excel and other MS Office suite applications
- Self-starter requiring minimal supervision
- Excellent communication, both written and verbal, and the ability to present information in a clear and concise manner
- Strong facilitation skills for requirement elicitation and management communications
- Excellent understanding of client operations and systems
- Strong organizational and collaborative skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to research and resolve complex issues
- Positive, professional attitude and adaptive to change
- Ability to handle diverse situations, multiple initiatives and rapidly changing priorities
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to derive the optimal return on investment (ROI)
- Ability to multi-task and track multiple efforts concurrently
- Understanding of organizational change management (OCM) to assist with adoption of system changes
- Ability to perform repeated bending, standing and reaching
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 pounds
