Job Description

The Sales Associatepositionis temporarily remote / work-from-home. Candidates must be within the Cincinnati area or a commutable distance for return to onsite work in the future.

DDC is growing rapidly, and our customers need fast and accurate solutions for their life-changing challenges and questions related to paternity or other family relationships. The role of the Sales Associate, Ecommerce (Direct to Consumer) is DDC’s premier sales position. From 8am to 8pm Monday through Friday, our global customers call us for answers about relationships that they use for immigration, surrogacy, or simply confirming the father of a child. The successful candidate for this role determines the services our clients require, charts their course through the testing process, and closes the sale.

Income is not capped, and six-figure upside is achievable—it is determined by your own skills and motivation.

  • Inbound call center working with warm, targeted leads.No cold calling required.
  • Compensation consists of an hourly wage with the potential to earn large monthly, quarterly, and annual bonuses. Quarterly and annual bonuses are uncapped once quota is achieved.
  • The hours for this role are from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm. There is ability to move to other shifts based on availability, as the department operates between 8:00am to 8:00pm.
  • Department culture and dress code are both comfortable, but always respectful and professional.

Responsibilities

  • Handle inbound calls and sell a solution for each customer’s requests.
  • Accurately complete all casework, and ensure adherence to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Assertively follow up with open cases and pursue the sale of DDC services.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues, as required.
  • Quickly understand and analyze customer needs, listen actively
  • Superior communication skills and the ability to finalize sales opportunities
  • Professionally explain and promote DDC’s products and services
  • Collaborate and work effectively with others
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Work independently and self-motivate to achieve department goals
  • Adhere to compliance regulations and policies
  • Results-driven and able to maintain and sustain company goals
  • Attend training and coaching sessions to develop relevant knowledge and skills
  • Ability to demonstrate and uphold the highest levels of ethical behavior and confidentiality
  • Analyze the customer problem properly and provide logical solutions
  • Identify and escalate priority issues when necessary
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Proficient in standard MS Office software
  • Able to document information in an application while on an active call
  • Able to learn other database and communication software, as applicable
  • Due to the sensitive nature of our business, it is imperative that each Team Member be of high integrity and able to keep work-related issues and customer information confidential.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of previous sales experience (retail, inside sales, or logistics)
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Bilingual is preferred
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet deadlines
  • Must be willing to work at hands-on, detailed level when needed.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to demonstrate and uphold the highest levels of ethical behavior and confidentiality
