Job Description

Key Responsibilities and Objectives

  • Supports all aspects of the product life cycle ranging from product definitions, pricing, launch activities, product sustaining and product obsolescence.
  • Work with internal stake-holders to develop and implement high impact collateral and sales tools for B2C and B2B product lines.
  • Assist in the development of marketing plans that detail competition and sales strategy.
  • Assume the role of “product champion” by developing an understanding of the customer journey, ensuring needs and next steps are intuitive.
  • Support and implement launch plans for new products based on analytics and market research.
  • Participate in cross-functional product teams devoted to troubleshooting and product improvement.
  • Keep up-to-date with competition and market trends; actively monitor competitor activities to define positioning and differentiators.
  • Provide product and positioning training for internal and external customers.
  • Assist with planning and execution of sales meetings and trade shows.
  • Assist with maintaining and growing relationships with external partners.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Travel as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent years of experience.
  • 1 years previous marketing experience; previous experience within a healthcare, life sciences, or biotech industry highly preferred; knowledge of company product lines a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience with successful product launch a plus
  • Experience with both hospital and alternate site segments a plus.
  • Experience working with distribution channels a plus.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent presentation skills and demonstrated creativity required.
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Strong planning, organizational, time, and project management skills are required
  • Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work with minimal supervision; must also be able to work as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally.
