- You are able to navigate existing application architecture and are cognizant of the challenges and recommendations in standard methodologies for supporting distributed systems
- Experience working in an Agile / Scrum software delivery environment, with exposure to continuous integration and continuous delivery tools
- You are motivated, an excellent communicator, can take initiative, and can make decisions based on the value of the solutions we build
- Demonstrable middle tier, database and front end programming skills
- Previous experience within Financial Services/Asset Management is a plus
- Strong Java/J2EE development working on enterprise level applications
- Good understanding of Cloud applications architecture and micro services model development including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS (AWS or Azure)
- Strong knowledge of MicroService Architecture and Development
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM, TDD etc.
- You have good verbal and written communication skills, can successfully communicate with other team members and build positive relationships
- Understanding of Agile systems development techniques utilizing Continuous Integration (CI)/Continuous Deployment (CD) and DevOps
- Client-side language, library, and framework proficiency: Angular 8+, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node, NPM, HTML/CSS, RxJS
- Messaging frameworks such as Kafka or JMS
- Exposure to AWS, 12 Factor application design or any similar cloud knowledge (EKS)
