IT Scrum Master in Findlay, OH. This is a long-term contract opportunity with the possibility of hire.

SUMMARYThe IT Scrum Master position offers an excellent opportunity to become an integral part of the Enterprise Asset Management product team advancing the digital transformation of key programs. The successful candidate must possess strong collaboration, communication, facilitation, and problem-solving skills. The candidate must leverage and apply agile methodologies that enable teams to effectively progress forward, eliminate roadblocks, and deliver on assigned goals.This position offers the opportunity to work with employees across the enterprise to help teams achieve the program objectives and effectively deliver on customer centric value. A successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills and high work standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform SAFe® Scrum Master functions across Mechanical Integrity and Analytics efforts; support PI execution, coach teams toward constant and relentless improvement, foster an environment of high performance, remove impediments and resolve problems in a timely manner, mentor and instill teams to effectively leverage the agreed-to Agile principles, and help teams to implement DevOps with continuous flow and delivery.
  • Create and execute a multitude of team events such as standups, sprint planning, retros, grooming of the backlog, and other related team forums.
  • Effectively manage, track, present, support, and ensure timely completion of the team’s deliverables.
  • Coordinate and facilitate a collaborative team environment for member growth, cohesiveness, productivity, innovation, recognition, empowerment, and accountability while successfully meeting the team’s objectives.
  • Engage with a vast variety of team members/partners (internal and external) building trust, creating alignment, driving towards consensus, and influencing ideal program outcomes.
  • Create and maintain team related program mediums and collaborative workspaces.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related/equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Technology or business-related field.
  • 2+ years working on large teams while demonstrating a strong ability to effectively partner, influence, negotiate, problem solve, overcome obstacles, and help drive team deliverables towards success.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage technical resources, vendors, and business partners to achieve target outcomes.
  • Proven written and verbal communication skills.

PREFERRED SKILLS
  • SAFe® Agile certified (with the Scrum Master certification being highly desired).
  • Experience leading multiple teams to deliver value added features through Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and/or XP.
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Test Plans, etc.), ServiceNow, and SharePoint.
