This role is a long-term contract / temporary opportunity.Your responsibilities- Track equipment inventory and collaborate on potential purchases- Install printers, troubleshoot and handle repairs- Provide support for functionality testing and end users- Complete PC-to-PC data transfers and troubleshoot software/hardware and break/fix- Comply with company quality standards to ensure sound electronic data records- Provide computer hardware support for PCs, laptops, monitors, servers, and other IT equipment, including diagnoses, repairs, rebuilds, and refurbishments- Communicate with suitable vendors to coordinate needed repairs- Retain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and solutions or installations- Own and complete technology implementation projects- Break down, box and ship old equipment- Handle all imaging and preparation tasks for new computers- Disassemble, pack, move and set up/install on site- Communicate regularly and effectively with ticket submitters Requirements - Knowledgeable of network design and implementation strategies- High attention to detail and possesses excellent organizational and writing skills- Proven flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments- Eager problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity- Consumer Electronics experience desired- Computer Hardware experience- PC skills experience- Proficiency in Power Electronics- Adeptness in Hardware Components- Electronic Components experience required- 1 - 3 years of experience supporting hardware and software for PC and Mac, and knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, LAN, and WAN- Ability to multitask and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds- A CompTIA A+ certification is a requisite for the position Robert Half Technology matches IT professionals with remote or on-site jobs on a temporary, project or full-time basis.
