Find your future with us.The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Engineer Level 3 to join our dynamic team in Heath, OH.Position Responsibilities:Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.

Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for programs to ensure compliance with contractual, Company and regulatory requirements.

Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.

Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs

Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.

Provides material review dispositions for non-conformance's. Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.

Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformance's.

Performs bench marking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree or higher

Experience in Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) and Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA)

Experience with drawing, reading and interpreting Geometric Dimensions and Tolerances (GD&T)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors, Masters or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry.

Experience interfacing with the Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA).

Experience using or applying metrics to measure quality of service delivery.

Understanding of AS9100, ISO9100, T9001B and Boeing Aircraft Certifications.

Originates action to improve existing conditions and processes; uses appropriate methods to identify opportunities, implements solutions, and measures impact.

Maintains effectiveness when experiencing major changes in work tasks or the work environment; adjusts effectively to work within new work structures, processes, requirements, and/or cultures.

Demonstrates an interest in personal learning and development. Seeks feedback from multiple sources about how to improve and develop; modifies behavior based on feedback or self-analysis of past mistakes. Takes steps to develop and maintain the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform.

Obtains information and identifies key issues and relationships relevant to achieving a long-range goal or vision; commits to a course of action to accomplish a long-range goal or vision after developing alternatives based on logical assumptions, facts, available resources, constraints, and organizational values.

Effectively plan what is to be achieved and involve all relevant stakeholders. Anticipate important or critical events, identifying resource requirements and assigning responsibility for specific work, including deadlines and performance expectations. Demonstrate the use of information -gathering techniques, analyzing situations and identifying implications in order to make correct decisions. Demonstrate ability to monitor progress and to make changes as required.

Typical Education/Experience:Education /experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.Relocation:Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position.
