- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical and/or Manufacturing Engineering, and at least two years' experience in an engineering field
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control
- Proficient in Solid Works or other 3-D design programs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent mechanical and technical skills
- Participate with the design team in the development of new products and/or the modification of existing products.
- Responsible for solving day-to-day production, equipment, and process problems.
- Work with QC Manager to perform inspections of incoming material and review nonconformance issues regarding product made in house.
- Create engineering masters for parts based on samples tested and update existing masters if parts have changed.
- Create clear and concise blueprints to be sent to suppliers for new parts.
- Review new and expiring patents for corrections or changes.
- Make improvements to current manufacturing operations to enhance efficiency.
- Provide technical customer service.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
