Site Survey Engineer

The Site Survey Engineer is responsible for conducting detailed site assessments to support engineering and construction projects. This role involves collecting and analyzing data related to topography, infrastructure, building structure and utilities to ensure accurate planning and execution of projects. The engineer will collaborate with project managers, design teams, building owners or representatives and field personnel to deliver precise and actionable survey results. Key Responsibilities: Perform on-site surveys using GPS, pictures, videos and other applicable equipment and applicationsInitiating and managing negotiations with building or private property stakeholders to secure entrance rights Collect and analyze data to support design and construction planning, to include inbuilding details and facility entrancePrepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using CAD and or GIS softwareCoordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure survey data aligns with project requirementsIdentify potential site constraints and provide recommendations for mitigationEnsure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to land use and construction as well as NESC compliance on pole attachmentsMaintain accurate records of survey data and project documentationAssist in the development of site layouts and utility plans
