Diploma or Equivalent with CNA certification RequiredOrAssociate's Degree Mental Health or other healthcare related field RequiredLicenses and CertificationsBCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Required AndCPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training 30 Days Required AndAHAFA - American Heart Association First Aid Certification must be maintained 90 Days RequiredWhat You Will DoTherapeutic communication while interacting with patients, working with the Wellness and Recovery care team and effectively collaborate with the nursing staff while exemplifying active listening and non-verbal elements of communication.Additional perks of being a Texas Health Employee
