Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the manufacturing industry, located in MAUMEE, Ohio, 43537-1716, United States. This role involves processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer credit records, and resolving customer credit inquiries. The successful candidate will also monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments.Responsibilities: Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently Maintaining accurate customer credit records Resolving customer credit inquiries promptly Monitoring customer credit accounts regularly Taking appropriate action to collect delinquent payments Handling incoming invoices, matching, coding, and recording vendor invoices Creating and issuing invoices to customers Reconciling invoices to monthly statements Ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments Assisting and supporting all company personnel as well as supporting the accounting team in day-to-day operations. Skills: Proficiency in Account Reconciliation Experience in Accounts Payable (AP) Experience in Accounts Receivable (AR) Proficiency in Billing and Data Entry Experience in Invoice Processing Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Proficiency in Oracle and QuickBooks Experience in SAP. Requirements Proficient in account reconciliation processes and techniques Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Knowledge of billing procedures and best practices Strong data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy Experience in invoice processing and management Proficient in Microsoft Excel and able to utilize its advanced functions Experience with Oracle and its applications in accounting Familiarity with QuickBooks software and its applications in accounting Knowledge of SAP and its applications in accounting Experience in a manufacturing industry environment is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team Problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically Ethical and professional conduct in all work-related activities.
