SENIOR MANAGER, IT INFRASTRUCTURE: Modis, the leader in the IT & Engineering staffing industry, is currently interviewing candidates for the position of Senior Manager, IT Infrastructure. This is a direct hire, permanent position.

Position Overview: The Senior Manager, I.T. Infrastructure is highly skilled in all areas of I.T. leadership, personnel management, project leadership, support guidance, finance, strategy development, and impact of I.T. You should be skilled in all areas of Server infrastructure, Unix platforms, Oracle database operations, Virtualization, Desktop Hardware\Software, and Networking based technologies in a 7x24 environment. Ideally, you will have previous experience within an enterprise Oracle environment (databases, ERP) and familiarity with UNIX, Windows, etc.

Responsibilities: The Senior Manager, I.T. Infrastructure and Operations will be responsible for managing an enterprise wide organization with 15+ team members. This individual is responsible for operational initiatives and works with I.T. leadership for long-term strategic decisions. Responsible for developing and coaching his / her team of direct reports and continuously improve efficiencies with their soft and technical skills. Identifying growth potential of internal employees for further advancement. Which includes the creation of both development and succession plans. Responsible to build a strong, talented team to implement solutions and maintain business operations. Interaction with different business groups is vital within this role and requires an understanding of multiple business segments and I.T.'s impact on their functions. Professionalism and cooperation when working with Customers, team members and management is essential. Financial management will include regularly monitoring and reporting financial impact occurring within the department. You will also enterprise wide vendor contracts, maintenance agreements, equipment procurement and purchasing negotiation and relationships. Responsible for an annual capital budget of $2-3M and an operating budget of $5-7M. This is a highly visible position with a career path to executive level promotions.
