AMBULATORY SURGERY

Practices professional nursing care in an autonomous manner supported by evidenced-based practice, professional standards of care, and code of ethics. Provides care for patients across the life span in a manner sensitive to social and cultural diversity. The Registered Nurse manages the nursing care in an interdisciplinary manner, in collaboration with the healthcare team, family, and significant other. Integrates the Collaborative Model of Care with a strong focus on patient center care into daily practice.
- BSN grdadate preferred. Must obtain BSN within three years of hire with enrollment in BSN program within 6 months of hire.
- Current Ohio RN licensure in good standing
- Has practiced asa Registered Nurse within thelast 3 years
- CPR certification
- Ability to read and communicate effectively
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Critical thinking skills
- Medical/surgical experience required
- Endoscopy experience preferred
