Here is a general outline about the role: Position: Designer Associate Pay: Based on Experience Hours: M-F, 8-5 Location: New Albany, Ohio (Hybrid, 2 days in-office, 3 days remote) Openings: 1 Daily Tasks and Responsibilities:- Computer aided drafting to prepare maps, sketches, schematics and other engineering related drawings.
- Clerical work to properly manage and document the work activities performed, as well as performing other design and engineering work as defined or directed.
- Create, revise and maintain detailed engineering and record drawings, maps and sketches.
- Create, revise and maintain material and property equipment records.
- Obtain information required to perform work from verbal communication, sketches, marked drawings, listings, field notes, vendors' catalogs and technical reference manuals.
- Perform mathematical calculations required to accomplish assigned work.
- Operate reproduction machines, plotters and other duplicating equipment.
- Work with other organizations of the Company to resolve discrepancies and assure that work is performed in a safe and efficient manner.
- Read vendors' prints, shop and other drawings and equipment operating instructions, and incorporate that information into the work being performed.
- Promote and support the Company's Accident Prevention and Safety and Health programs.
- Demonstrate the highest standards of ethical behavior and support the Company's Corporate.
- Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Associates Degree in Engineering or related STEM Field
- CAD Experience
- Driver's License in order to use company car to travel to building sites (rarely).
