This role is responsible for maintenance, support, integration, troubleshooting, and all administrative functions of MS SQL databases and servers. Individuals in this role will monitor changes and critical conditions related to SQL databases and operating systems and provide customer support as required.Essential Responsibilities Assist database administrators with the design, development, maintenance, support, integration, troubleshooting, and other administrative functions as directed Monitor performance of database systems and database storage resources Monitor and maintain database optimization, index rebuild/defragment, and database statistics SQL Server Installation, upgrades, migrations, configuration, and decommissioning Apply database software service packs and cumulative updates as necessary Maintain database documentation as required Maintain and administer database security access Perform database Ad-hoc backups and restores

SQL Server Enterprise security Log Shipping configuration SQL Always-On configuration, scripting, SQL Server database backup/ Restore and disaster recovery, Server replication Stored procedures Data import/export Excellent trouble shooting and problem-solving skills
