Batcher - SML Coordinator - $1,000.00 Sign-on Bonus!

Job Description

• Work directly with other Avery Dennison employees to maintain a safe, professional, confidential and productive operation.
• Follow established methods and procedures to process orders by timely review and write up of incoming custom, stock and sample orders.
• Schedule and calculate orders by available stock.
• Input orders into the system.
• Print core slips, labels & operator instructions, if required.
• Schedule orders to the machines.
• Maintain the production schedule set by the department managers.
• Review completed orders not received by shipping dept.
• Review stock levels and write up jobs to replace inventory.
• Log all daily activity for future reference
• Keep department managers informed of any problems.
• Follow all safety rules, follow company policy conduct rules at all times, including wearing proper hearing and foot protection.
• Monitor inventory performance and lead improvement efforts to exceed the company’s operational targets.
• Initiate actions to simplify inventory related processes
• Perform any other additional duties assigned or as required to maintain a smooth and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Oral and written English language literate. Strong math skills
• High school graduate, GED equivalent, or related life experience.
• Epicor experience preferred

• Work is performed in a manufacturing office with normal arm and hand extension to use office equipment, bending to reach supplies and standing to file documents and retrieve items from printers. The noise level is moderate to loud.
