Genesis10 is seeking a Database Administrator (Oracle) for a 9-month remote contract position with a client located in Orrville, OH. This role pays $65-$75/hour W2 depending on experience.

Job Duties:

Day to day work is primarily unstructured and depends on the needs of the database/environments and IS department.
Work comes from developers, business analysts, or infrastructure/team counterparts by email, instant message or through a few different ticketing/request systems.
Work will center around maintaining/supporting Oracle databases (have version 10-19 and ExaCC) within our ecosystem as well as Oracle E-Business Suite.
Assisting IS counterparts with requests primarily needed for Run Model, Enhancements and Project work.
Documentation is required to be written or enhanced to ensure SOPs are up to date.
Depending on bandwidth from normal run model tasks, additional tasks to improve processes for the Oracle database team will be assigned as well.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of Oracle Database Administration Advanced knowledge of Oracle database technologies
Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting experience
Strong knowledge in back-up and recovery (like RMAN)
Oracle E-Business Suite Application support/knowledge
Database and SQL performance tuning experience
Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
Self-motivated with a strong drive for improvements
Flexibility to learn new skills quickly

RAC Experience
Golden Gate experience
OEM Expereience
