Position Description:The primary responsibility of the Business Analyst will be as a subject matter expert on the engagement platform, which will include gathering detailed requirements, translating those requirements into a functional technical specification, and implementing them as part of successful system configuration for both new and existing clients. A key responsibility shall also include the development of documentation around existing processes and workflows within the platform. The business analyst serves as a liaison for the development team for application enhancements to ensure all requirements are met. Participation and proficiency in user acceptance testing, documentation and communication of the results are also essential. Candidates should be highly organized and have well developed writing and analytical skills and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.Primary Responsibilities:- Performs detailed requirements analysis
- Implements requirements as part of system configuration which include rules validation and Q/A
- Evaluates business processes and produces documentation to support those processes, anticipates requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Effectively communicates insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathers critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produces useful reports.
- Works closely with clients, developers and team members.
- Ensures solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Performs user acceptance and regression testing.
- Updates, implements, and maintains the library of procedural documentation.
- Prioritizes initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
- Serves as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Manages competing resources and priorities.
- Monitors deliverables and ensures timely completion of projects.
- Ability to understand how to convert business needs into technical spec documentation
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field.
- Q/A and testing experience required / preferred.
- A minimum of five (5) years' experience in business analysis with experience in the Healthcare discipline preferred.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Advanced writing skills that demonstrate a high level of organization and comprehension
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
- Advanced technical skills.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
