TECHNICAL TEAM LEAD - eCOMMERCE: Modis, the leader in the IT and Engineering Staffing Industry is currently interviewing candidates for the position of Technical Team Lead - eCommerce. This is a direct hire, in-house permanent position that is fully remote.

Summary: The ideal candidate possesses a strong software development background, effective communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to provide insight around risks and opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with software development, SDLC, Agile Methodologies, and will have a deep knowledge of Search Engine Optimization, Content Management, Release Management, DevOps, and e-Commerce applications. The incumbent will be knowledgeable in PCI, PII, SOX, and ADA Compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work closely with leadership, PMO, and cross-functional teams to define and execute projects and improve the operational business processes.
  • Partner with leadership to develop project plans, process flow diagrams, use cases ,current/futures.
  • Lead the software development team in the successful implementation of new digital technologies.
  • Work with PMO to provide daily/weekly/monthly reports - schedule, budget, burndown, burnup charts.
  • Participate in and manage the 7x24 on-call rotation.
  • Develop and maintain a proactive monitoring strategy for all customer facing websites, third-parties, and ancillary systems.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to develop and implement new and improved processes.
  • Work with stakeholders on various aspects of technical SEO tactics, Tag Management, and ADA Compliance.

    • Skills and Abilities
  • Provide expertise from project evaluation through realizing business benefits.
  • Ability to own the software development during unit testing, SIT, and UAT.
  • Excellent verbal, written, video, and in-person communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with technical and non-technical audiences including vendors, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to work effectively individually and in a team environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced eCommerce environment.
  • Knowledge of SEO, ADA compliance and web traffic metrics.
  • Familiarity of workflow ticketing system: Atlassian Suite or similar product.

    • Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Business, Analytics, or IT.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience leading large e-Commerce initiatives.
  • Strong knowledge of e-Commerce, ERP, Product Information Management, Marketing, and Digital Technology.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience developing secure e-Commerce solutions - front-end, back-end, integrations, API management, etc.
  • Experience developing software utilizing project management methodologies: Predictive, Iterative, Incremental, and/or Agile.
  • Experience with testing automation, and the developing and refinement of test scripts.
  • Senior-level expertise with various programming languages - Java, C, C#, PHP, Python, CSS, etc.
  • Ability to utilize metrics/analytics to identify operational opportunities.
  • Strong understanding of e-Commerce trends and best practices.
  • Experience with optimizing database performance, application performance, and edge caching.
  • Understanding of Google Analytics or similar analytics platform.
  • Experience with cloud technologies - Amazon Web Services, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform.
