Middle Bass Island Yacht Club is interested in hiring someone to work approximately thirty (30) hours per week (Memorial Day – Labor Day) as Assistant Dock Master.
The candidate must be out going, polite, be able to be trained in the proper procedure for securing dock lines, have a safe boaters certificate or pass the online course before start of work. It will also be necessary for the candidate to operate a cash register, computer, cell phone, VHF radio, do regular daily cleaning and grounds work and be able to work with little supervision.
The start time is 8:00am, however the first Ferry does not arrive until 10:15am. Because of this the position is best suited for someone that lives on Middle Bass Island.
