- Experience with measuring devices (CMM, micrometers, calipers, height gauge, tape measures).
- Ability to read and interpret documents of instruction.
- Must be able to follow procedures and work instructions.
- Ability to read/ interpret blueprints/ drawings.
- Strong working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Previous experience with ISO 9001, QS 9000, and/or IATF 16949 standard and its requirements.
- Understanding of manufacturing procedures.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Ability to perform routine math calculations.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions.
- Excellent attention to detail. Preferences
- CAD experience.
- Experience with technical drawings, weld specifications, and military specs.
- Internal Auditor training/ experience.
- Prior experience with metals or manufacturing.
- Prior experience with automotive quality tools such as APQP, PPAP, Process Flow, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA Studies, RCCA, 8D, etc.
