This role is accountable for performing daily outbound transportation tasks and carrier related communications for multiple manufacturing facilities
Responsible for creating solutions that are in the best interest of the customer and the facility.
Assign daily freight to the carrier base to meet delivery dates of customer orders in a cost-effective manner.
Collaborate with Customers, Carriers, Manufacturing Facilities, Customer Service Specialists, Logistics Analyst, Material Planners, and other OC organizations as necessary to identify and troubleshoot issues to ultimately deliver our product on-time and damage free.
Job requirements:
High School Diploma/GED/equivalent required
Customer Service/Office Experience 1+ year required
Strong work ethic and organizational skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
Experience with computers, Microsoft Products, Phones, etc.
