POSITION SUMMARY/OBJECTIVE:Under the direction of the Team Leader / Production Supervisor will manufacture water-based ink and intermediate compounds in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to quality procedures.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:Operate mixers, manufacturing tanks, conveying equipment, milling equipment, canning lines, troubleshoot equipmentGather / weigh materials and weigh batches according to ticketsPackage / label finished goodsLead inventory counting teams and perform inventory cycle countsStock rotation and minimization of partial containersOperate Lift TrucksIdentify opportunities for continuous improvementParticipate on plant teams and serve as a trainer for employees and / or new hiresMaintain a clean work area and work safely; participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs and training sessionsFollow all ISO operating procedures REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED; 1 ? 3 years? experience in a production / manufacturing environment; computer proficiency required; experience with and knowledge of safety; good verbal and written communication skills.
