So just imagine where we can take you!The Eastern Region of Otis Elevator Company is searching for a highly motivated Regional Field Engineer to provide technical support and guidance to all field associates.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Providing technical direction to regional field associates engaged in construction, service and modernization projects
Actively ensure all field personnel comply with safe work practices in accordance with EH&S standards
Thoroughly investigating and resolving all critical customer problems with the use of Otis and non-Otis products
Interfacing with internal and external customers, and identifying solutions and providing consultations as needed
Monitoring field tests, as well as first inspection and data reports
Consulting with construction superintendents, modernization superintendents, constructors, adjusters and service managers in regard to problems encountered with product performance
Proactively offer assistance to the region in regard to the malfunctioning of equipment
QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of relevant technical experience required; industry experience preferred
Proven ability to work successfully with field associates
Ability to interact and communicate effectively with customers, team members, and Otis management is critical for this role
Self-motivated to work independently and efficiently in a competitive, customer focused environment
Working knowledge of Otis and non-Otis software, as well as preferred experience with current and vintage Otis and non-Otis products
EDUCATION:
High school degree
