31928BRRequisition ID:31928BRBusiness Unit:INDJob Description:Under direct supervision, creates chemical formulations, processes, and equipment for chemical process facilities, water treatment plants, hazardous waste treatment and related industrial applications of basic complexity to meet client project requirements. Reviews draft designs for compliance with federal, state and local regulations. Ensures that firm policies and practices are followed on all designs. Performs site reviews and studies, hydraulic calculations, PSV sizing, equipment and vessel specification/selection and process modeling as needed, to ensure designs are aligned with location specifications. Updates design requirements as necessary. Contributes to firm's TKM by developing white papers and technical design documentation of new or special case designs, studies, etc. Submits technical papers and designs for publishing to technical journals. Performs other duties as required. Basic Knowledge of engineer principles of design. Knowledge of Microsoft business software (excel, word, etc.).
