Description:This position includes working with multiple departments to develop estimates used to create quotes for customersCore Responsibilities: Review incoming Requests For Quote (RFQ)s to prepare quote Lead creation of cost estimates for new products/programs and internal projects; including material, labor and outside service costs. Create and maintain cost analyses. Coordinate supporting activities from engineering, quality assurance, contracts, finance, operations, procurement and other stakeholders as needed. Maintain understanding of division manufacturing capabilities. Develop quoting requirements. Maintain relationships with key outside vendors for quote generation. Supplemental engineering department supporto Department metrics reportingo Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) supporto Lead or contribute to business improvement projectsSkills:RFQ, request for proposal, estimation, cost analysis, vendor relationship, ERP, aerospace, estimate, vendor invoices, purchase order, quoting, supply chain, supplier management, CAD, lean six sigma, NX, process flow mapping, Solidworks, AutoCAD, continuous improvement, machining, heat treatingAdditional Skills & Qualifications:Nice Have (Preferred) Ideal candidates also possess:o Machining, electro-discharge machining, press/forming, welding, brazing, heat-treat and inspection experienceo Process design and process flow mapping experienceo Experience planning high mix / low volume productiono Experience with CAD (Solid Works, NX, AutoCAD, or similar)o Proven success with team leadership and continuous improvemento Lean and six sigma experienceAbout Actalent: Actalent connects passion with purpose.
