Description We are offering a contract to permanent position as a Responsible Business (ESG and Sustainability) Manager with a construction industry client in Westerville, Ohio. The selected candidate will primarily be tasked with the implementation and promotion of the company's Responsible Business strategy, fostering a positive sustainability culture, and staying informed on emerging industry trends.Responsibilities: Implement and promote Responsible Business as a core value within the organization. Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in the sustainability industry. Assist in integrating Responsible Business considerations into the company's operations and decision-making processes. Build and lead a high-performing team focused on delivering Responsible Business initiatives. Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Provide expert advice on topics such as GHG Emissions Inventory and Climate Risk Management Strategy. Conduct Responsible Business risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate these risks. Manage Responsible Business reporting and disclosures, including regulatory filings and investor communications. Monitor Responsible Business performance and identify opportunities for continual improvement. Develop and implement integrated ESG/CSR initiatives and communication programs. Advise senior leadership on environmental, social, and governance risks and opportunities.
