Kelly Technology has a Configuration Technician 1 role available in Wilmington, OH 100% onsite CompTIA A+ certification/1 - 2 years of experience to start Degree requirements: High School or equivalency Primary Job Duties • Performs moderate to marginally advanced configuration jobs with minimal assistance from Senior Technicians and Leads while following work instruction documents. • Ensures that hardware/software installed on customer's system is compatible and at the desired version level. • Performs all other duties or special projects as assigned. Required competencies: • Technical aptitude with ability to absorb and apply newly learned technical skills • Adept in use of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook • Strong knowledge of, and the ability to identify components and software used in computers. • Some hands-on experience with repair or configuration of computer systems. • Technology reading comprehension with ability to read basic work instruction documents or schematics. • Technology troubleshooting and mechanical skills. • Adaptable with ability to switch tasks based on shifting priorities • Articulate with ability to express oneself clearly and professionally in written and oral communication • Detail oriented with item by item focus, meticulous attention to detail with ability to proofread for accuracy • Interpersonal skills with ability to work well with all levels of the organization • Judgment with ability to formulate opinions, compare and decide with good sense • Organized state of mind with ability to document activities, set priorities and meet deadlines Pay: 1st shift $17.00 - 2nd shift $18.00 - 3rd shift $20.00
