Requisition Number: 202102331 This position reports to the Sr. Manager Process Improvement and will support Digital Document Services (DDS) locations in Memphis TN and Wilmington OH. It is responsible for building, and developing a team tasked with shaping, developing the analytical tools, process analysis and recommendations which will, in partnership with Operations and Strategic Accounts leaders, be accountable and active participants in the Operational Excellence Transformation. This person will drive Performance and Process Improvement through process, systems and organizational re-engineering initiatives across operations to maximize customer satisfaction and financial performance. This individual will champion Lean Six Sigma methodologies and be able to drive change through influence, strategic and tactical expertise. This is not an administrative role; it is a highly strategic and hands-on position that requires a combination of focus and flexibility, as well as willingness to play an active strategic, quality, Performance Improvement and behind-the-scenes role. As a leader, this position requires a highly resourceful individual with strong emotional intelligence, self-motivation, strong analytical skills, business acumen and technical competence.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify potential process improvement projects in order to support Operational Excellence in the overall companys strategic direction.
  • Leads departments in the creation, monitoring, measurement and analysis of standardized processes.
  • Assist in the creation of Performance Metrics, reporting and improvement targets for all business and Operation groups.
  • Determines critical business metrics and works with analytical team to build dashboards, scorecards, and other metric systems.
  • Drive culture change to instill focus on fact-based management practices, the use of Lean Six Sigma and other problem solving methodologies.
  • Demonstrated quantified results derived from Lean Six Sigma efforts within a large-scale organization is required.
  • Continuously improve organizational capabilities to achieve process quality as part of project execution.
  • Support project teams in process quality activities by educating, coaching and mentoring others on Performance and Process Improvement philosophy, tools and application.
  • Oversees and directs multiple project teams, and coordinates activities between business functions to ensure project support and implementation.
  • Tracks project Performance and initiates actions to address barriers and delays.
  • Collects, validates, and analyzes data required to understand problem root causes, or key drivers of required business results.
  • Uses innovative problem solving and critical thinking approaches to define solutions.
  • Develops and maintains trusted and respected peer relationships with executive stakeholders.
  • Leads ad-hoc, team based problem solving sessions using Kaizen, and similar tools.
  • Addresses difficult and sensitive process and business issues with executive stakeholders in a manner that results in successful resolutions and strengthened relationships.
  • Acts in an advisory capacity to executive management on Performance Excellence including development of relevant business objectives, metrics and tactics.
  • Communicates opportunities that enable business units to thrive and achieve evolution the enterprises mission and vision.
  • Identifies and prioritizes impactful process / project selection with business leaders.
  • Serves as a coach, expert, mentor, trainer, and technical leader in support of Performance Excellence using Performance and Process Improvement methodologies, tools and techniques.
  • Builds relationships within business unit and across the enterprise to enable cooperative achievement of common goals while driving improved process maturity.
  • May manage a team of Performance and Process Improvement professionals and lead Process Improvement projects to deliver significant, measurable business results.
  • Works to optimize the Performance of managed resources relative to the objectives by directing work assignments and providing guidance and training.
  • There will be moderate travel involved involving Memphis Tennessee,

Qualifications:
  • BS/BA in BS Business/Technical Engineering Degree discipline (Masters degree preferred in some area) OR an equivalent combination of education and work related experience
  • 7+ years of experience in management, experience in leading resources to enhance business Performance and Operational Excellence by designing and implementing business solutions.
  • Certifications or relevant training in any of the following areas: Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or higher), Business Process Management, Quality Management or Quality Engineering.
  • Strong experience based in business intelligence, analytics, and Key Process Indicators and Operational measurement initiatives to drive improvement.
  • Track record of successful cross functional project management & deployment leadership experience in relevant environment/organization.
  • SharePoint experience is a plus
