Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC, is hiring a Configuration and Data Manager who will be primarily responsible for supporting AFLCMC/LP at WPAFB, OH.

Responsibilities

  • Review program-unique specifications to include system specifications, development specifications and product specifications for both hardware and software, for proper format, content and compliance with program requirements and appropriate standards; process requests for nomenclature and requests for Computer Program Identification Numbers (CPINs) and track requests through appropriate Government agencies for response back to the customer.
  • Support the configuration control function to include receipt, dissemination, processing, tracking and final disposition of Advanced Change Study Notices (ACSNs), ECPs, Contract Change Proposals (CCPs), Requests for Deviations (RFDs), Requests for Waiver (RFWs), Deficiency Reports (DR), airworthiness directive notes, service actions and notices of deficiency.
  • Review change proposals for thoroughness, configuration and data management impacts and compliance with Government requirements.
  • Make appropriate recommendations for Government review and disposition and assist in the preparation and conduct of CCBs and business management boards (or their equivalent).
  • Maintain change proposal files and provide historical information as required.
  • Support the conduct of Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs), Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs), and compliance audits to include audit planning, auditing hardware and software Configuration Items (CIs) and disposition and tracking of action items and minutes, support other program and engineering reviews and technical interchange meetings, at government and weapon system Contractor facilities.
  • Maintain configuration status accounting databases and records to reflect the configuration status of baseline documentation and fielded systems and equipment.
  • Support acquisition and contracting database applications to ensure full time operational support and maintain data repository for accuracy and real time availability of historical data.
  • Provide IT-related user support and reporting and shall implement corrections for deficiencies as available and required.
  • Organize and issue data calls, and draft data call letters for Government review and release.
  • Assist data users and requesters with the selection and tailoring of DIDs, preparation of one-time and standard DIDs, and completion of data management forms such as CDRL (DD 1423) and the Contractor Data Requirements Substantiation (AF Form 585).
  • Support data reviews, integrate inputs from program office/Integrated Product Team (IPT) functionals into draft CDRLs, prepare data review documentation, participate in data reviews, draft data, review minutes, and follow up and maintain status of action items.
  • Support preparation and maintenance of CDRLs for inclusion in RFPs, contracts, and contract modifications using either automated or manual processing systems as specified in the applicable technical order.
  • Receive, log, track, and maintain current status of contract data deliverables, maintain electronic and manual data management files to include associated DID files, and provide associated historical information.
  • Support engineering data management, prepare and maintain EDMPs, establish and maintain an engineering data activity file, and provide technical support in preparation for and conduct of engineering data guidance conferences and engineering drawing In-Process Reviews (IPR).
  • Support the DR function by receiving, processing and tracking DRs; establishing and maintaining DR/Material Improvement Project (MIP) files and databases; providing disposition instruction for exhibits, and planning and conducting MIP Review Board meetings.

Qualifications

  • Clearance: Secret or ability to obtain a Secret
  • BA/BS and 3 years of relevant experience or
  • Seven (7) years of relevant experience
