Job Number: 854 Riverside Research is looking for a Radar/Signals Processing Engineer to join our team. You will be working with a team of Riverside Research, government, and contractor personnel conducting Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) analysis for scientific and technical intelligence reporting. The work is in support of both US Air Force and Intelligence Community programs. All Riverside Research opportunities require U.S. Citizenship. Job Responsibilities:- Independent verification and validation of radar specific signal processing algorithms and tools
- Support various radar algorithm development, tests, and evaluations
- Investigate signal processing artifacts and anomalies; develop technically sound mitigation strategies
- Perform radar cross section measurements
- Translate operational needs into technical requirements; prepare supporting documentation
- Support Radar analysis and signal processing activities
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Education:
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or comparable technical degree and 5 years of relevant experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree with 10 years of relevant experience will also be considered.
- 5+ years of experience technical Radar analysis and demonstrated signal processing experience
- Proficiency developing algorithms and tools using MATLAB
- Experience using SICD format data
- Proficiency with techniques to detect and mitigate data anomalies
- Experience with RCS measurements and analysis
- Knowledge of SAR detected image formats (SIDD, WIBD, GeoTIFF)
