Overview

Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Facilities and Construction Project Manager SME to support AFLCMC/OZO at WPAFB, Ohio.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with customers and other governmental personnel and agencies, as necessary, in the planning, management, and execution of facilities/construction projects while ensuring compliance with Federal and Air Force Regulations.
  • Draft documents (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for government approval by required need dates. This includes supporting the following paragraphs in addition to assisting with the development of Performance Work Statements (PWS); preparation of draft Statements of Work (SOW); draft programming documents; and developing cost estimates, business case analyses, briefings and other documents for government approval, as required.
  • Coordinate with government and contractor stakeholders, to ensure facility/construction projects are planned, budgeted, and executed in a timely manner, consistent with government requirements.
  • Perform a comprehensive review of all aspects of facility/construction projects, including applicable design criteria, applicable AF and national standards, criteria, and specifications, citing specific areas with issues or concerns.
  • Perform a comprehensive review of short and long term facility/construction projects cost estimates and resource management needs, citing specific areas and issues with questionable basis.
  • Assist in the development of various project management tools to include Project Management Plans (PMP), Construction Management Documents, and all required enterprise business system data entry for assigned projects, as required.
  • Assist in the review/oversight of facility projects work in progress; and quality assurance/quality control as necessary. Perform a comprehensive technical review of contract submittals, requests for information, change order requests, or other real-time interaction with government and contractor stakeholders, as required.
  • Assist in the coordination of and attending facility/construction project meetings, contract review meetings, pre-construction meetings, and other pertinent meetings. Coordinate projects with Installation Civil Engineering, Communications, Security and other key service provider activities. Develop briefings in support of project and meeting requirements, as required.
  • Assist with the planning, management, and coordination on multi-phase new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for real property facilities, including utility systems, utilizing a professional knowledge of mechanical and/or civil engineering concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Assist in the review/coordination, as required, on the design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, underlying analysis, technical drawings, and specifications related to a wide variety of projects and mechanical systems, to include plumbing (potable water and sanitary sewer); heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC); fire suppression, control, and alarm systems.
  • Assist in the planning, management, and coordination of multi-phase new construction, renovations, and improvement projects for weapon system support facilities, utilizing a professional knowledge of civil engineering and/or project management concepts, principles, and practices.
  • Assist with the review/coordination, as required, on the design calculations, cost estimates, schedules, underlying analysis, technical drawings, and specifications related to a wide variety of projects and systems, to include airfields, roadways, site/area development, drainage, foundations, structures, transportation; drainage and other systems of major size and complexity for use on a military installation, airfields, multi-story office buildings, large utility plants, hospitals, hangars, flight simulators, and similar structures.

Qualifications

  • Secret clearance required.
  • Must have Expert-level experience in Facilities and Construction Project Management to support the USAF.
