The Energy Representative will be weatherizing homes for utility programs and weatherization agencies to reduce consumer energy bills.
Responsibilities:
Conduct residential eligibility screenings.
Document survey and return to program staff.
Act as local, on-site program and company representative to
customers
Installation of energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats, water heaters
Perform minor and incidental structural repairs to include windows and doors
Assist with loading and unloading work trucks
Assist with keeping the job site tidy, organized, and safe
Assist with customer site job set up and tear down
Assist with restocking inventory in work trucks
Candidates must be capable of working outdoors in all weather conditions
Candidate must be comfortable on ladders, working with power tools, and working with hand tools
Candidate must be willing to travel as needed
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma or equivalent required
1-3 years of prior experience in the residential construction industry, with emphasis on framing and insulation is preferred
Plumbing and/or electrical experience is preferred
